Chesham Sans was developed to become the foundation of the Quainton Type library, a versatile sans serif designed to support both everyday typography and more expressive applications. The focus was never to create another neutral grotesque, but to explore how subtle adjustments to proportion, spacing and construction could produce a typeface with warmth and clarity without compromising functionality.
